Besos
"Besos" surge como respuesta a una ausencia. Durante los años de pandemia, aprendimos a tomar distancia, a contener el impulso natural de tocarnos y a reprimir los gestos más simples y humanos.
En estas imágenes , intento capturar esos primeros momentos post pandemia en discotecas por Madrid, donde esa energía contenida finalmente se libera dando paso a reencuentros, abrazos, risas pero sobretodo múltiples besos.
"Besos" emerges as a response to an absence. During the pandemic years, we learned to distance ourselves, to contain the natural impulse to touch, and to repress the simplest and most human gestures. In these images, I try to capture those first post-pandemic moments in Madrid's nightclubs, where that pent-up energy is finally released, giving way to reunions, hugs, laughter, but above all, multiple kisses.
